JSS University Rolls Out Grand Welcome for 1,700+ Freshers with ‘Abhyuday’

Noida, August 3: In a vibrant beginning to the new academic year, JSS University, Noida today launched “Abhyuday”, its six-day Orientation & Induction Programme for the Academic Session 2026–27, welcoming more than 1,700 newly admitted students into its B.Tech, B.Pharm and D.Pharm programmes. The event reflected the University’s strong commitment to nurturing future-ready professionals through academic excellence, innovation and holistic development.

The inaugural ceremony witnessed an enthusiastic gathering of students, parents, faculty members, university officials and media representatives. Dr. Anmol M. Andhare, Joint Secretary, University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi, attended as the Chief Guest, alongside Dr. H. R. Mahadevaswamy, Vice Chancellor, JSS University, Noida, and other senior dignitaries.


Addressing the students, Dr. Andhare encouraged them to embrace dedication, discipline, curiosity, resilience and innovation, stressing that these qualities are essential for personal growth and nation-building. Vice Chancellor Dr. Mahadevaswamy urged students to see university life as a transformative journey, encouraging them to participate actively in research, innovation, internships and leadership opportunities while continuously upgrading their skills.

The six-day “Abhyuday” programme offers an engaging mix of sessions on the National Education Policy (NEP 2020), Artificial Intelligence, innovation and entrepreneurship, communication skills, leadership, career planning, wellness, sports, cultural integration and campus life. Students will also benefit from laboratory visits, departmental interactions and expert sessions led by professionals from academia, industry and research organisations.


By blending knowledge, technology, ethics and industry engagement, JSS University continues to strengthen its vision of producing globally competent professionals, responsible citizens and future leaders prepared to thrive in a rapidly changing world.
